INTRODUCTION

 Rajeev  Gandhi Navodya Vidyalaya  gairsain, Chamoli (Old name Shyama Prasad Mukharji Abhinav Vidayalaya) being run by the state govt. of Uttarakhand has started functioning in the session  2009-10 with the mission to impart quality education to the selected/ talented students belonging to rural areas of the district. It is completely residential co-educational school.

OBJECTIVE

The Rajeev Gandhi  Novodaya Vidayalaya Gairsain Chamoli recognizes the common thread of culture, knowledge and ethics which binds our diversity socially and makes them excel in the international level. We always make efforts to inculcate respect for the nation, school, family and teachers. Through this educational inspiration, the school hopes to create a human society free from prejudices, superstitions and discriminations based on sex religion and caste and characterized by respect for the dignity of the humane person concern for each other.
